THE NEW HOBBY

McKayla has turned to a new hobby, fishing.
Luckily C.C. knows how to fish so he spends most of his time getting everyone's poles all ready and then maintaining them the rest of the time, he's a good sport.
Come on fish, get on the hook already. The Jordan River didn't yeild any fish that day.
Linkin liked to hide in the tall grass. Next we tried Deer Creek but they said we couldn't let the dogs out so we headed down the canyon. No fish there either.
We tried Deer Creek again another day without the dogs.
It was raining and still no fish.
Sab had to pose.
McKayla wanted all fishing stuff for her birthday. When I told the lady at Albertson's I would like a fishing cake she told me all about her 7 year old son that loves fishing and he wanted the same cake. When I told her it was for my 17 year old daughter she was kind of speechless.
She just can't get enough of the camera, the flowers are pretty though.
Family gathering plus her friend Natalie from California.
We found this great little pond that we had a blast exploring. The girls had to try out the raft to make sure it could hold them both, no one got wet.
Linkin was great, he even had a great nap on the dock.
Sab catching some rays, no fish though.
No fish here either.
Look how beautiful this place is. No fish, although they swam by the dock.
McKayla wanted to try one more time but the fish were not interested in her hock one bit.
This was the result of the fun day in the sun for McKayla. Poor thing, no fish but a major sunburn. Yes, these are blisters on her upper arms. She and the sun aren't very good friends. She is ok with being extremely white and preserving her skin from wrinkling.

OFF TO BOISE

We headed to Boise to attend Ryan's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. He did a great job in earning his Eagle at the age of 16.
Diane and I had to have our silly BFF picture.
Just chilling at the house, of course McKayla and Ryan were avoiding the camera.
This was the big project. They were recycling bins for the Foothill Learning Center. They did a really cool job on them, my picture doesn't to them justice plus there were several of them that were made.
The big honors from both of his parents.
Diane has this beautiful cake made for the occasion. It was made from fondant and that part was pure decoration but the cake was delicious.
My brother Scott (one of his scout leaders), Ryan, and my mom's cousin Steve from San Diego. Steve is also an Eagle Scout and had a part in the ceremony.
Vinny wanted to make sure he was safe in the car for the ride home.

The Cutest Family In The World

Tegan on his new ride.
Summer is so cute with her boys, all three of them. Sorry Mark but you know you're in that category too.
Mark and Summer came down for a holiday weekend. We wanted to get Tegan a bike to ride when he is here. Of course his parents had to make sure it was SAFE for him.
Bridger hamming it up for the camera.
These two had quite the Nerf wars, Mark had just as much fun or more than these two did.
We headed for the Zoo, the guys and Summer on the Harleys and I got to drive the boys and Isaac in Summers car. Mark and Summer were both in heaven riding the bike, they need one. Look how cool they look on it.
Tegan had to have a little ride too. This was some random dude "looking" at his phone. I think you're suppossed to put it up to your ear.
Couldn't pass up the Merry-Go-Round!
All of our Apes.
Waiting for the Elephant to spray.
Isaac had a great day with the boys.
Tegan was pretty ticked that he was going home and not back to our house. We were too but hopefully they will come again soon. They really are the cutest family in the world. I really love all 4 of them.

A Great Year In 3rd Grade

Isaac started out the year terrified of this teacher because of all the BAD things that he had heard. It turned out that she was the best teacher and he had an awesome year with Mrs. Nielson. Don't believe everything you hear.
Isaac and his pal Jace, they really did want me to take this picture.
Reading "Summer Of The Monkeys" on the last day of school.
Field day, it was a pretty toasty afternoon but at least they got out of doing school work.
3rd grade was definately a huge step above 2nd grade. A good teacher makes all the difference in the world. I hope 4th grade is another great year for Isaac.
Sabrina and McKayla wouldn't let me take any pictures of them at school, no surprise. Oh wait, McKayla never goes to school. Haha.

Meet Linkin

Yes, we have given up and gone to the dogs. We welcomed this little guy into our home , with caution, but have all really loved him to pieces. This is Linkin, C.C.'s Pitbull, he is seriously the best dog.
C.C. absolutely LOVES this little guy and is so good to him. Link just follows him around and does whatever C.C. tells him to, even when it's naptime. Could this be any sweeter? I love the paw up on his chest.
He sleeps in the funniest positions and it never phases him a bit. I'm sure he will grow out of this bed soon.
Awwwww, this face. I know it's going to be huge one day but he's so sweet.
C.C. has done a ton of research on raising a Pitbull, especially on behavior and training. So far he is a little teddy bear and very obedient. He has the cutest and softest ears, they are fun to play with. He is a great dad to this little guy and it's obvious that Link is C.C.'s pal for life.
