More Reasons To Love Utah

This is my view daily but it was especially beautiful last night! Love this so much!

Oddities

I thought this was pretty funny, sorry if you don't! Someone is optimistic of the future!
I was taking Sabrina to her gate for her trip to San Jose and after my interrogation of why I had a bullet in my purse at security, we made it to the gate and the lady behind us was having a fashion issue. I had to take this picture, another mean move, but just so I could explain to Travis about it when we got home. She had no ideas for almost 5 minutes and we took this very sneaky picture to prove that she was not aware at all. But everyone else in line was very aware.
Ceasar still in hopes that he will fit on the small bed in my office.

Halloween

We keep forgetting to carve pumpkins until the last minute but they got creative this time. The Mr. Potato came to be because it was frozen so Travis got out his drill and started in in him. Isaac finished him off by adding all the accessories but the best part was running the drill... inside the house!!!! Dreams really do come true. McKayla of course did the wiener dog and the Pitbull for C.C., and Sab did her TVD=The Vampire Diaries.
Isaac in costume! Yes the blood pumped through his face all night long!
Morgan and Lily, our neighbors. I love the blood in her teeth.
Sabrina and Mallory, they looked cute even all gothic!

I on the other hand spent a lonely, sad night at home BY MYSELF passing out candy. I did try to spice it up a bit and have fun with myself and the trick or treaters by wearing Travis' butt boxers. THey have two butt cheeks in the back of the boxers, go ta few laughs and I'm sure I offended some but oh well. Everyone was gone with friends or working. Just another wake up call that it is all coming to an end! Dumb!

Cray Hair Day

This seems to be the usual hair do for Isaac but it still works.
Only a few more of these left! Stop it!

Happy 80th Birthday Grandma

My mom and Isaac
Photo op with FeeBee
Align Center
Showing off her birthday present, the necklace that matches the bracelet that we gave her last year. We had a nice time with her here. Bike rides, walks, gardening, Halloween decorations, and just some time well spent. Thanks for spending your 80th with us!

Trucks!

Grandma came down so we could celebrate her birthday with her and she wanted a few pics of C.C. and his cool truck!
McKayla's new rig! She loves it and bought it herself! Pride and Joy!

Happy 15th Birthday Girl!

Can't believe it! My baby is growing up!
Trying to guess what it is!
It was a new suitcase and 100 $1 dollar bills! My mom gave her a trip to San Jose for her birthday!

Stop growing up so fast! 15 years breezed by awfully fast!

FeeBee Gone Wild!

The flash always make her look like a demon, which I 'm sure all the kids would agree that she already is! NOT! The girls thought FeeBee should be dyed, so they took it upon themselves to carry this out! Doesn't she look like she is loving it?
The final product! So proud of her new look!

Fall 2011

When I came back from Jackson Travis had been working on preparing the spot for our new brick mailbox. This is what I found! How sweet! Love that guy!
Took a Sunday drive through the Alpine Loop to see the colors. It was nice to spend time with Travis, until he had some road rage about the impatient person behind us. He was prepared to chase this person all the way down the back side of the mountain and be obnoxious but I had to put an end to that since I was totally getting car sick. It was a beautiful time of day to enjoy the colors.
I know I'm nuts but this was so beautiful to me!
Isaac took and Archery class with one of our neighbors in Orem. It was fun and he learned how to shoot quite well. The last day their teacher had a little competition. The teacher would buy all the kids a pop if one of them beat him. Well, Isaac beat him and everyone else in the class so they all got a pop! He was very excited that he was the hero.

ANOTHER TRIP TO JACKSON

I HAD TO MAKE ANOTHER TRIP TO JACKSON FOR MY UNCLES FUNERAL. I WENT ALONE AND MY BROTHER SCOTT ALSO WENT, WE MET IN IDAHO FALLS AND PLAYED TAG ALL THE WAY THERE. THE FUNERAL WAS VERY NICE FOR MY UNCLE DON AND THE GRAVESIDE SERVICE WAS AS WELL. IT WAS VERY HARD TO BE THERE FOR THAT REASON CONSIDERING THAT MY DAD IS BURIED RIGHT NEXT TO MY UNCLE. WE WERE ABLE TO SEE SOME FAMILY AND ENJOY SOME TIME SUPPORTING THEM.
SCOTT AND I DID SOME BLOWING UP OF SOME OLD STUMPS IN THE WOODS WHICH IS ALWAYS FUN AND A GOOD STRESS RELIEVER. I REALLY LOVE OUR BARN. IT'S JUST WHAT I ALWAYS REMEMBER AND IT HAS SO MANY GREAT AND CHERISHED MEMORIES THAT ARE ATTACHED TO IT. IT REALLY IS BEAUTIFUL.
THIS IS OUR BRAND FOR THE RANCH, SPEAR C. IT IS BURNED INTO THE WALL DOWN IN THE SHOP.
ANOTHER SIDE OF THE BARN. THERE ARE MANY CRITTERS THAT LIVE IN THERE NOW SINCE THERE IS ZERO TRAFFIC THROUGH IT, VERY CREEPY.
WE FINALLY GAVE TRAVIS AND I'S WEDDING CAKE UP AND THREW IT AWAY. MY MOM HAD KEPT THE TOP OF IT ALL THESE YEARS. THE FROSTING WAS STILL GREAT BUT IT WAS JUST A LITTLE SCARY TO TRY TO TASTE IT, IT'S 22 YEARS OLD!

IT WAS A GOOD FEW DAYS IN JACKSON WITH MY MOM AND BROTHER. THEN I HEADED OVER TO REXBURG TO HELP SUMMER AND MARK MOVE OUT OF THEIR TRAILER FOR THE AFTERNOON. THEN ON TO MY AUNT KAREN AND UNCLE JERRY'S FOR THE NIGHT. THEY SPOILED ME WITH A GREAT DINNER AND THEN SCOTT CAME BY ON HIS WAY HOME IN THE MORNING AND WE HAD ANOTHER WONDERFUL MEAL TOGETHER AND THEN HE LEFT FOR BOISE. AUNT KAREN HAD HER EYE SURGERY DONE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND ASKED ME TO HELP HER WITH HE MAKEUP. THEN WE HEADED FOR THE RIVER FOR A NICE SUNDAY WALK. THEY ARE ALWAYS SO FUN TO SPEND TIME WITH AND I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I CAN GO BACK.

PUPPIES

I INTRODUCED THE DOGS TO THE DECOYS THAT HAVE BEEN IN THE YARD FOR 2 YEARS AND LINCOLN WAS QUITE ATTACHED. HE EVEN HAD A NAP WITH HIS NEW FRIEND AND WASN'T ABOUT TO SHARE WITH THE PUPPY. HE BUSTED ME TAKING A PICTURE OF HIM WHILE HE WAS NAPPING IN THE SHADE. NOTICE THE HEAD IS HALF GONE ALREADY!
GETTING BIG, 35 LBS BUT HE'S A BEAUTY.
POSING FOR ME BY THE GNOME THAT HE TOOK OFF WITH ONE DAY.

WEEKEND GET-AWAY

THE MARTINS AND TRAVIS AND I HEADED OUT FOR THE WEEKEND TO JACKSON. OUR FIRST STOP WAS TO SEE THE MORTENSEN'S IN REXBURG!
IT WAS TEGANS BIRTHDAY SO WE MADE SURE TO SEE HIM AND BRING HIM SOME LOVES. THEY WERE AT FAT CATS SO WE GOT TO BE SILLY AND PLAY SOME GAMES WITH HIM AND WIN MANY MANY TICKETS SO HE COULD PICK OUT SOME AWESOME PRIZES.
BRIDGER WAS A CRAZY GAMER AND WENT IN FOR THE EASY SHOTS!
WE HOPED THAT TEGAN WOULD HAVE PICKED THIS OUT BUT NO GO!
THE NEXT DAY WE WENT TO "TOWN" AND PLAYED TOURIST. IT SURE WAS FUN!
MODELED RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE FUR COATS AND PRETENDED WE COULD AFFORD THEM. THEY WERE ALL BEAUTIFUL!
THIS IS THE OLD JACKSON DRUG STORE WHERE WE WOULD GO EVERYDAY AFTER SCHOOL IN JUNIOR HIGH AND HANG OUT AND ORDER A TURKEY SANDWICH AND CHARGE IT TO OUR PARENTS. YES CHARGE, BACK IN THE DAY WHEN EVERYONE KNEW EVERYONE. I ALSO WORKED HERE AS DID A MILLION OTHER KIDS IN JACKSON. IT ISN'T ANYTHING LIKE IT USED TO BE BUT AT LEAST THEY HAVEN'T RUINED THE OLD FOUNTAIN COUNTER.
THE GOOD OLD DAYS...WHEN YOU WERE A KID AND HAD NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND WITH GREAT FRIENDS.

SCHOOL HAS BEGUN

NOT GOING TO LIE THAT THESE WERE NOT TAKEN ON THE FIRST DAY BUT IN THE FIRST WEEK, DOES THAT COUNT? SAB WAS OFF TO THE HIGH SCHOOL (10TH GRADE) FOR AN ADVENTURE. SHE KEEPS GROWING, HOPEFULLY SHE WILL SLOW DOWN BEFORE SHE IS TALLER THAN ALL THE CUTE GUYS. :)
ISAAC STARTED 5TH GRADE AND HAS A GREAT TEACHER THIS YEAR.

MCKAYLA CHOSE TO NOT START COLLEGE RIGHT NOW BUT IS WORKING 2 JOBS RIGHT NOW.

C.C. IS BACK AT UVU FOR ONE MORE YEAR TO FINISH HIS GENERALS.

NICK IS FINISHING UP HIS LAST YEAR AT BYU AND SCHEDULING INTERVIEWS FOR MED SCHOOL.

HEATHER IS FINISHING UP HER LAST SEMESTER OF STUDENT TEACHING AND WILL BE GRADUATING IN DECEMBER!

MADELINE IS COMING JANUARY 8TH OR WHEN EVER SHE FEELS LIKE IT! SO STINKING EXCITED.

WE ARE ALL VERY EXCITED FOR ALL THE FANTASTIC EVENTS COMING THIS YEAR.

SUMMER...IT'S A WRAP!

MY BROTHER NEIL AND HIS WIFE MICHELLE CAME THROUGH ON THEIR WAY TO TAKING THEIR DAUGHTER LEXIE TO COLLEGE IN OREGON! WE WERE ABLE TO SIT DOWN FOR A FEW HOURS AND GET CAUGHT UP! IT WAS SO FUN TO SEE THEM AND CHAT . THANKS FOR MAKING SURE WE WERE ON YOUR ROUTE! GOOD LUCK LEXIE!
I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE COOLEST SHELF, IT'S AT MILAGROS IN OREM. VERY UNIQUE AND THE GLASSES ARE COOL TOO!
WE ARE THINKING OF PICKING THIS UP FOR SAB FOR WHEN SHE CAN DRIVE! WHAT DO YOU THINK?
THIS IS WHAT I GET WHEN ISAAC AND EVAN BORROW MY CAMERA! YOU MIGHT ASK "WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY DOING?"
THIS IS FEEBEE AFTER A DAY OF ANESTHESIA, THIS IS SERIOUSLY HOW SHE LOOKED ALL NIGHT LONG. SHE FINALLY GOT HER NASTY GRILL CLEANED. SHOULD LAST HER WELL INTO HER LAST YEARS.
AND HER LITTLE PINK BAND AID FROM THE IV!
I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING FRAMES FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW AND FINALLY GOT THEM ON THE WALL! I REALLY LOVED HOW IT TURNED OUT, NOW I JUST NEED TO GET THEM ALL FILLED WITH US AND GET RID OF THE STRANGERS.
ISAAC MADE THIS SPECIAL LINE UP TO SURPRISE ME WITH. THIS WAY HE CAN JUST GO DOWN THE LINE AND SMASH AWAY. WELL THOUGHT OUT PLAN! HE HAS BEEN CRUSHING THE CANS AND WE LET HIM KEEP PART OF THE CUT OF SELLING THEM BACK. IT GETS A CHORE DONE AND SOME MONEY IN HIS POCKET!
