Happy Birthday To Me!

Travis surprised me with this beautiful set up! HUGE screen, keyboard, and mouse. I am so excited to start on some new picture projects with my new equipment! He is always SO good to me, he likes me to have all I need to do the things I love! Great man I have!
I pitched the idea of leaving on the bikes thursday at midnight! It all went well with Travis leaving work early and off we went headed to Idaho Falls about 3pm. It was a beautiful ride and sunny. We spent the night with my Aunt Karen and Uncle Jerry! I thought it was fitting that I spend my dads birthday with his sister. They are so much fun and we can't wait to back! Travis said he would have been happy spending the whole weekend with them. On Saturday we went to the Farmers Markets and enjoyed checking all the stuff they had. Then off we headed to Driggs to see my dads airplane and motorcycle. The ride there was beautiful through Swan valley and over Pine Creek Pass. It was hard to be there and see his things without him in them. Sure miss that man.
Then we headed over the hill to my moms. She had made a birthday cake for me and made this arrangement of gorgeous flowers from her garden. So thoughtful. When she was lighting the candles I realized that the wooden angel candle holders, which I forgot to take a picture of, were the same ones that were on my first birthday cake! How sweet! We had a nice time with her, we walked all over the ranch and explored the barn and the bunkhouse, more pictures next post! We also went over to the cemetery to see my dads grave. Very odd thing to do but wanted to see it since the last time it was a mud hole and surrounded by snow.
Wyoming has not gotten the memo that it is summertime so we bundled up and headed for the home the long way down Snake River Canyon. It was an amazing ride, it is so built up and such a different place now. I loved the ride down to Fairview to see my buddy Kelly.
Kelly and Kelly, best friends always. It's like we have seen each other everyday for the last 30 years when I see her. She is one of those people that you feel so proud to have in your life and grateful for the strength she gives me.

From there we headed home. It went from 55 degrees to 75 within 20 minutes when we were coming into Salt Lake. I love these trips with my husband, the time is always precious to me. Thanks for a great birthday weekend.

Happy 18th Red

She really wanted a dirt bike and so it was an easy gift, just had to find the right one for the right price. It was her Birthday/Graduation gift! Happy as can be!
My man!
Isaac out burning up the dirt!
C.C. and McKayla heading out for a ride!
C.C. is very good, he has some skills!
Sabrina even learned how to ride that day! Great job!
Travis decided to go for a ride instead of putting together something for Phill!
Sabrina practicing her photography skills, I loved this picture
We had this cute cake for her at her family party, it was very very different!

Happy Birthday my sweet young daughter and congratulations on graduating High School and MATC! So proud of you! Can't wait to see what you do with your life from here on out!

Isaac

He finally got to pitch and in several games. He did great and surprised us all, the teams hidden secret. With some work he really could be very good. It was a great confidence booster for him.
Isaac was feeling pretty ready for "Unclehood" after packing Nash around for a few minutes.
After we went to the pool last week I asked Isaac not to leave his swim shorts on the floor. Here it is, he really did follow directions. I had a good laugh, I love that kid!

Scout Day Camp

Building a tool box with Logan.
The final product!
Fishing!
Archery is always fun!

They played horseshoes, had a water balloon fight, and tons of other games and activities.

This was his last Scout Camp, since he will be 11 in August this chapter is behind us. I was glad they asked me to come help, I had never been able to go to a Scout Day Camp before with the older boys.

Visits From San Jose Friends

Becky Messman Crapo, love this woman!
Britt and Laurel were at EFY for the week and we got to pick them up and enjoy them for the day. Sabrina absolutely loved seeing them! Laurel had to head home that night but Britt got to stay until Monday.
These two got zero sleep but picked right up where they left off years ago.
I got to see Jodi too, always a fun time. Miss these guys!

Life In The Ferg Lane

This poor little guy struggled for life but I just could not deliver. I decided to send it on the garbage dump.
Isaac and his teacher Mrs. Rivera, 4th grade. One of the best years he has had, last day of school. Also was my last day of work at Farmers, it was a bitter sweet decision. I loved working there with Diane and enjoying the day interacting with clients, but mostly chatting it up with her. But since my nest is quickly dwindling, I chose to spend my time where I should be, home. Happy to be able to devote my time there again full hearted.
You might be a redneck if...your fence is part of the old trampoline.
So we decided it was time to do it right. We are finally a fenced in yard, escape free.
When we were cleaning Isaac's room today his poor pig had a fatality so we took his picture and sent him on. He colored him all by himself years ago, so cute.
Summer has finally arrived. Giant marshmallows and a sunny evening.
I love this fire pit. One of my favorite things in the backyard.
A family divided!
McKayla needed a blanket but was too tired to walk down the hall so she nabbed the dog, it served her purpose.

U2 Baby!

Heidi surprised me with an early Birthday present. I have always liked U2 and have listened to them enough that the kids hate it when they are on. But HOLY COW!!! This concert was seriously so awesome!!!!! A definite "must see" in your lifetime! I would be on-board for going again if I could!!!!!
This scrumptious man came cruising in and then the show began! Hold me back!
Now if he isn't a dedicated fan, I'm not sure who would qualify!
Heidi and I hamming it up!
And the fun begins! WOW, this man can create energy like no other.
I had never been to an outdoor concert ( U of U) and I fell in love with them!
The next several pictures may bore you death but I loved the show that they put on so I was snapping away!
THE MAN HIMSELF!
I was sad when it was ending, I could have stayed all night long listening to them.
Thanks again Kirk and Heidi. Especially Kirk since he sat across the stadium from us for about the first 3rd of the concert so Heidi and I could sit together.
It was really a fun night. We rode the TRAX from Sandy thinking that it would be the way to go.... turns out everyone else that lives in the valley had the same idea. None the less, it was something that I had never done before and it was an adventure. Such and adventure that after the concert we decided to walk down farther into Salt Lake to catch a train without having to wait an hour or more, we walked 15 blocks and then thought they were going to shut down the TRAX before we actually made it back home. We had a good laugh about it waiting for the train in the middle of the night wondering if we were going to be sleeping in our beds that night! There is always plenty of laughter when Heidi is around!
Thanks again for such a fun night guys!!!
