Random-Fergs

Not sure who had this great idea.
Sabrina added the CSI twist to the bloody hands.
Poor Janet, this shiner is over a month old.
Isaac's Halloween costume mask.
Linkin is trying to make it work even though he grew out of it long ago.
This was Isaac's "crash site" from wrecking on his motor bike. He was hauling around the neighborhood and going off the curbs. There were too many other little kids around he lost it going off the curb. The other kids said it was a sweet crash and he looked cool. Dustin and Diane were here and when they left we found this.
Sab in her one-zie hand-me-down that she thinks is the coolest thing ever. Thanks McKell.
Poor baby Linkin. Not only did he loose his man-hood but he had to wear this lampshade to protect himself from ruining his stitches. It was hilarious because he acted like it weighed 50 pounds. His neck would droop like this picture then I would lift it up for him and he would run off and when I couldn't keep up with him it would fall again and it would stop him dead on. It was quite the sight.
McKayla has found a new hobby, going up the canyon 4 wheeling with her shop buddies. Turns out the tires were pretty much gone before this trip but she surely finished them off. She said she drove like 20 minutes on the tires like this and had no idea. The rim was even chipped and the tire was beyond.... well you can see. Way to polish them off McKayla.

What happened to me, you might ask? Or not!

Well, I got a job! It's perfect AND it just pretty much fell into my lap. I called my insurance agent to ask a question and he happened to ask if I knew anyone looking for a job. I asked a few questions about the job description, like do you need to know anything about insurance and called him back a few days later asking if I could interview. We had a chat over the phone and we called it good. I am now the Office Manager for a Farmers Agent in Orem.
This is where I spend 4 plus hours everyday. Answering the phone, working on changes to policies, and whatever else needs to be taken care of. Diane, the other secretary, likes to mess up my desk because she knows what a freak I am about being organized.
I spend a lot of time in front of this.
This is Diane, it's amazing how I get paid to talk to her all day. Just kidding, we don't chat ALL day. She helps me with everything, she just knows everything there is about Farmers. It's extremely boring when she has the day off.
This guy is part of the office too, takes up most of the wall.
This is my totally hard core boss, NOT. Brian is so nice it bites him in the butt sometimes. He's great to work for and doesn't mind me organizing his day or his desk.

It has really been great for me to be working. It's a 10-2 gig everyday and fits in with the kids' schedule very nicely. It has been an adjustment to make time for everything but I'm getting the hang of it.

Got Roots?

Alison arranged for pictures and they turned out so beautiful. I love this one of Travis' parents.
The siblings, all but Mike and McKay.
This is the whole crazy bunch. I really love the setting of this picture, it's a perfect spot.

Idaho Bound

We headed to Idaho for our Ferguson Family reunion and it just so happened that Tegans Birthday party was that first night. Isaac and Sab and I headed up early so we could party it up with the little man.
He was cute as ever! Love these guys. Glad I didn't miss it, I hate missing stuff like that.

On to the reunion. Cousins everywhere. We rented a really cool lodge in St. Anthony that held our huge family and supported all our activities of 85 people.
Sab is so lucky to have cousins her age. I was the youngest cousin in my family growing up and there was only one that was anywhere near my age.
They had games planned for the adults which was really fun. Travis mastered the game with the three boards.
Since wood had a huge part in their life they had a game of stacking as many pieces of wood in the wheelbarrow and then driving it a certain distance. Nick got to take a crack at it.
Travis' mom was on his team so he literally held her hand to get her through this game. It was very sweet.
Travis, being his competitive self, set the record. Until the next few teams came through and were even more competitive.
We also played a nice game of Frisbee Golf, never had done that before but it was fun.
Isaac had a blast because he was on Nick's team. There were other games that were themed around the chores the kids had to do growing up. It was very creative and alot of fun.
It was such a fun and sucessful weekend. We all got to spend some quality time together and are excited for the next reunion. A million thank you's to Rob and Alison for putting it all together and mostly having the interest to make it happen.

Labor Day Weekend To St. George

This is my new favorite picture of my man, doesn't he look so hot?
We took off on the bikes for a long weekend and miles of riding. We were in search of Ghost Towns but they are ghostly because no one knew of any and we couldn't find any. But it was fun riding around looking. We found this cool place up in the hills that used to be a mining town and so that was as close as we could get.

They had some really cool antiques sitting around for decoration.
We thought since we stopped so much for drinks and because it was a hundred degrees the whole time that we could get our own cooler going on the bikes. So we got a garbage bag and filled it with ice and put it in one of Travis' saddle bags and walllllllaaaaaaa. Instant cooler. It was awesome actually and our drinks stayed nice and cold.
Zion's was georgeous as always. This little family of mountain sheep was hanging out on top of this rock on the side of the road.
Endless beauty! Makes it really hard to keep your eye on the road.
There was some MAJOR construction so we did alot of waiting especially before going through the tunnel. I love that tunnel, it's so long.
We stopped at this Mormon Massacure site. It was weird to think about all the awful things that happened there but I was glad to learn more about it. I love that Travis has this huge vast amount of knowledge about so many different things.
I made him pose for another Kodak moment. He said "what am I this time, Charle Ingols?"
This fat guy was having a nice sunbath. Lizards are so cool.
We put a ton of miles on the bikes and had such a fun time doing it. Must do this more, make time! Make time!!!

Photography

We had a photography night at Mutual. We were taught many tricks and how to use our cameras better. It was so much fun.
We had alot of fun just messing around with candids and pictures like this too.
Mallory's eye, cool.
Our beautiful young women, Mia Maids.
There really isn't a better place to be than with these wonderful girls.

Randomness of The Fergs

I was getting my buzz going before they fixed my filling that they screwed up last time. Isaac said I looked funny so I got a quick shot to confirm, yes I did look funny.
Long story. We had bought some huge pieces of styrofoam so Isaac could throw his knives and stuff into it without destroying our walls. We were at Walgreens a few weeks ago and he thought this head was the best deal so he bought it. So he combined all of his resources and hung it from the styrofoam and continued to work on his mad skills with the blow gun. I found him just the other day with the screen off in his room and he was outside shooting through the window and nailing this hideous guy right smack in the face. He is a really good shot, it's really quite funny. We are in training for the next Hunger Games. :)
We took the Young Women for a Mutual Activity on a tour through the Homeless Shelter in Salt Lake. This was one of the 25 quilts along with 100 bottles of shampoo that we had collected to take with us. We thought we were bringing this great donation of 25 blankets until we found out they go through 1200 a year!!!!! Wow, we didn't even scratch the surface of their needs. To me it was really an eye opening experience and I could tell the girls were all feeling alot of things also.
Isaac apparently doesn't know how to spell McKayla's name.
I saw this one day and was having a good old laugh reading it as " For all your CRAP and Oxygen needs". It was even funnier when my friend Megan said "Ya I see that all the time, C-Pap! We sell those at my dad's work." Oh right, C-Pap not CRAP! Then the joke was on me! They are kind of the same thought when you get you old, you may need help with both. :)

My Green Thumb This Year

This is the front walk around July 15th. They are coming along, slowly but surely.
Filling in quite nicely!
This picture was taken around September 15th. Holy Cow right?
They are growing onto the sidewalk. Gotta love the Wave Potunia's. Purchase, plant, water, enjoy. Thank you Becky Pew for introducing me. They look really beautiful.
Massive Sunflower head from Sabrina and I's garden.
Many squash plants and some pumkins plus Linkins "perimitor check" pathway.
This squash vine went rogue! It's seriously growing UP the sunflower stalk and doing quite well. Must have needed some better sun exposure.
It was all a bit finicky this year. Our water wasn't the best so that's probably what went wrong. We have a bunch of tomatoes but they are all green still. Green Peppers are doing great. No Watermelon or Canteloupe or Cauliflower or Brocoli or Onions or Carrotts. The corn really hates us but there were a few ears that we ate and they were ok. Oregano and Parsley did great and are huge. We have Zuchinni for the whole neighborhood and the yellow squash. Not sure what happened to my spaghetti squash? The pumpkins are going to be great again for Halloween, we have several and they are getting bigger every day. Nothing like my neighbors 300 pound pumkin he grew a few years ago. The garden is fun but I'm done, let's get this wrapped up.
