SUMMERTIME IN JACKSON

We are never at a loss of things to do when I go "home".
Shooting at the shooting range is always a must and a ton of fun.
Even mom joined in the fun this time.
We brought a good variety of guns and ammo.
Sam rallied the boys for a shooting contest.
I have always loved the sight of this on trees up in the woods.
This was just plain weird looking so I couldn't pass it up.
Isaac and Isaiah disappeared for hours at a time "hunting", poor bird but he was excited.
This tree had fallen across the road and we tried to pull it out of the way with the Jeep, that has no brakes.  No luck but Sam and I had fun trying.
Spent an afternoon at Jenny Lake.  It has many memories for me as a child.  We took field trips there many times.  It's still so beautiful.
Canoe, dogs, beautiful day equals a ton of fun and an exciting ride across the lake.  Dax jumped ship but was rescued by Sam. Cat-like reflexes. Then the park ranger came around and told us we could not have dogs here because there was a bear roaming the area.  Kind of put a damper on the plans.
Tubes are always fun.  This lake is so peaceful you can just paddle around it all day.
The boys really had a blast exploring the lake.
Sam took grandma on a ride around the lake.
This view of the mountains and the foreground is just another reminder of my western childhood that stands strong in my mind.  It was such a rich and wonderful childhood.
There was even huge heard of buffalo roaming.  Such a beautiful sight they are.

Jackson, Wyoming is a wonderful place to go escape and recognize all the beauty the west has to offer and enjoy.  It all forever be my home.
