We went through Zion's National Park, beautiful.

We went to Bryce Canyon also on the way home, again, wow!!!

We were pretty tired so we needed a nap! Not too bad actually.

Another trip to Boise

Yuba Lake with our neighbors

The kids had a great time in the mud and a great place to get all muddy.

I went to Youth Conference in Flamming Gorge, an awesome time with some great kids

C.C. came home from working in CA to celebrate his birthday! 19, wow the time flies!!!

Then it was Isaacs turn, 9! Wow!

Family party time again!

Baby blessings

Shooting eggs with a BB gun CC let Isaac have

We also used the BB gun to get rid of this thing for the night. I'm sure he will be back tonight to poop on my front porch again like he has been doing all summer. Creepy!!

It has been a really great summer and we have been all over and done some fun things. Not a fan of school starting and the rat race beginning but I am glad that we all got to get away and have some fun this summer.
P.S.- Not sure what happened to the format but you get the drift!

Happy OLD - Day To Me!

I woke up to this, from my friends the Harmons!
They are way sneaky. As it warmed up the balloons started popping. The neighbors thought we had started on the 4th early.
Travis was in California so he surprised me with this giant bouquet which was so heavy I could hardly carry them in. They looked like they belonged in a lobby of a fancy hotel, they were so beautiful. Eat your heart out everyone.... wow!!!!!! My husband spoils me!
I had a breakfast date with Jodi, who was secretly plotting with the kids to decorate the garage while we were gone. Then I had a lunch date with Janet and Carrie, it was Carrie's birthday on sunday. We have all been friends for almost 15 years. Then Phill and Janet made us all dinner and the girls made the cake and Sab decorated it.
Travis "pimped my ride" for me and here is the final product. Georgeous! It is so much MORE fun to ride with the new handlebars. I love the wheels and tires too, just a huge fan! Plus he got me new bags that I will be able to put more than just a sweatshirt in. He really takes care of me and spoils me like crazy!!!
As depressed as I was to turn 40.... eeeek, it was a great day and it carried into the weekend with Travis coming home and another party on sunday with family and friends. Life is good!

Off To Boise

Everyone was gone except for Isaac, FeeBee and I so we headed for the funnest place on earth!
All the necessities for a happy trip, drink, DVD's, and snacks.
FeeBee looked dead passed out on the console, it looked so funny!
Swimming with Diane! Lunch at the Spaghetti Factory with Ryan.
Their dog Jake is so funny. This is his Blanky that he has seriously DESTROYED, as you can see.
Ryans has the nicest friends ever, they really included Isaac.
Part of Ryan's Duct Tape phase!
The guys messing around at the Harley Store while we tried on shoes.
Lunch at the Spaghetti Factory, we went twice because the salad was so good. Then they bring you the best bread in the world, combine that with the salad dressing and it could turn out to be a daily thing.
The boys figured out if you plugged one side of the fountain that the other would shoot extra high! You could hear Isaac laughing half way down the block.
Dry Ice Bombs! Ryan's hero status went way up that day!
Fonzie the neighbors dog, such a cute dog!
We were walking downtown and saw this guy and he looked like such a TOOL! Turns out he was probably a really hard core down hill mountain biker.
The first time in the pool he was scared to death of anywhere he couldn't touch but by the last day he was jumping off the diving board and driving us around on the rafts! Go Isaac!
Even FeeBee went swimming. She jumped off the side to get on with me! Can't miss out on the fun even if you're a dog.
I love going to Boise, I get to spend time with my brother and his family. I even got to see my friend from high school and another great sister-in-law, Tecia. It's never enough time with any of them, I guess that what keeps me going back, endless fun!

Sweet 16 and Never Been Kissed! I Think!

McKayla had her 16th birthday on friday!!!!!!! Wow!! I sure hate to see my kids grow up so fast but I guess there really isn't much I can do about that! The DMV is closed on fridays which we didn't know about, so there was a bit of depression about that since she will be gone all next week and will still have to wait until the following monday for the official licence.

Kenzie and Phill came to take her to breakfast and to decorate her room. Sab and Isaac beat her to it with the traditional toilet papering!
Time for a new fish! She researched the Parrott fish and it is suppossibly really a stupid fish, but it looks cool.
Sabrina helped me decorate for a little party. I figured it would be fun to wait so that Torrey could be there too, she came on saturday!
The little kids picked out the cake! The lady kind of looked at me weird when I asked her to write "Happy 16th!" on the cake! Whatever! Big kids like him too!
The gang came for the party!
Poor SpongeBob suffered a 3rd degree burn on his fingers. McKayla had been without her Asthma meds for a few days and was a little short on breath so the candles burned a little too long.
Definately having McKayla a part of our family has been the very best experience for us all! We really love being around her and she always comes up with the best things. I'm so thankful for the person that she has grown into, she is a blessing to everyone she knows! :)

Broken Little Man

We started with this.
Then it became this!
Then we needed one of these!
Then it went to this!
Ten minutes after we got back from the picture above, we ended up with this!
This is where we are now.
Remember that neither of these came about because of anything major, just dumb things that normally would not have hurt anyone else. Thanks to my genes I am assuming that he has what I had as a child. Sorry buddy!
