Thanksgiving Week!

The mountains are looking so beautiful!
I worked at the candle store again to help with the holiday sale!

The first snow came on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and the kids quickly went out to build the first snowman of the year, complete with a carrott nose and M&M eyes. Unfortunately he is a goner but I'm sure there will be plenty more to come.

I was making Ryan chocolate chip pancakes. Turns out there was a huge chunk that had melted together that I figured would be a nice little addition to his pancake. It was a little hard to get the other side cooked but it turned out great!

Yes, we are a little odd but I still love them. My brother Scott and his son Ryan!

We all really had a great time with them! We saw a movie, went shopping and some good quality time together. I love these two guys and I was so happy to have them come spend Thanksgiving with our family! Miss them already!

Halloween Festivities

McKayla lead the decoration committee, Sab and Isaac.
Isaac needed a costume for the Ward Trunk or Treat so we improvised with the NASA costume that he wasn't going to be caught dead in and made him into a convict for the night! McKayla paid him a dollar to wear it and he ended up really liking it. My friend told him to not get to comfortable in that outfit.

We almost forgot to carve our own pumpkins, with only two particapants it makes it kinda hard to remember. But they weren't going to let us so that's good.

It was a nice night for trick or treating, not too cold yet. Seems so weird that the next time it's Halloween, who knows, I might only have 1 trick or treater to take around! Kinda sad to see it all go so fast!

We had some PAY-BACKS to give so I recruited my guests for the job, plus the boys across the street that were watching us destroy Jordans house at 2am.

We had this planned for weeks and the kids were all excited about it but a few of them couldn't wake up when it was go time.

Since the ones that couldn't wake up were mad they missed out we had to go again the next night. Good quality time with the kids!

So my beautiful baby girl is offically a teenager, a time that has been looked so forward to.

As The Barnyard Turns

This is how beautiful our yard was looking with the duck pool, the decoys, the poop, the ramp to get into the pool, the egg, and did I mention the poop?
The first egg layed by, we think, the new big white duck. Complete with poop on top and feathers all around. No way was anyone interested in trying the taste them so they were just kind of fun to go find every day.

This is the suicidal fish that jumped out of the tank and was laying on the carpet not moving! We put him in a ziplock bag and after about 30 minutes I went to take him outside to throw away and I thought I saw him move. So we put him into a bowl and Travis spent about 20 minutes with a fork trying to swim him around to get him back to life. It worked! Seriously he was fine, swimming around and back in business that night when we put him back into the tank. All was well, until the next morning when he was dead, again! It must have been the 30 minutes without any oxygen. OOOPPS!

Travis went outside and took a look around at all the huge massive amounts of duck poop and he decided it was over. He asked McKayla what it would take to get rid of the ducks and her reply was a puppy. So off they went to Wal Mart parking lot. They came home with this little dude. A Mini Weiner.

He has turned out to be a really sweet puppy!

FeeBee hates him, not just dislike but strongly HATES! It's like the annoying little brother that will never leave you alone and always wants to play!

He seriously is so funny! He LOVES McKayla, he's very attached to her and cries when she goes downstairs without him. She is a great mom, he really only will snuggle up to her when he's ready for his naps. She was in her room doing homework or something and this is how comfy he was, sound asleep!! She is not a fan of the 4:30AM wake up call from him but she is really responsible.

So, the goat is gone, the ducks all went to Wyoming to live in a pond, the jumper fish is dead, and the puppy is here to stay! I think our animal stage is complete, lessons learned, been there done that.

Feelin' The Love

All because I put an empty cookie box in her car.

I actually watched them all do this this to my yard at 1am one night. I was trying to think of something to freak them out like throw a duck in the front yard or put a red lazer on someone's forehead. Instead I just let nature take its course and have been planning my revenge ever since. It's going to be the highlight of my childrens year, we have HUGE plans! Stay tuned!

Weekender To Rexburg

Travis and I rode the Harleys up to Rexburg for the weekend. Our nephew was getting married and it was getting close to Tegans birthday. We were able to visit with Scott and Julie and all their kids, Beck and Sid, Richard and Karalyn, and Kevin and Melissa. It's always nice to see Travis' family and get caught up.
The happy couple had their reception at this cool barn in Teton. It was a neat idea and they had it decorated really cute. Sweet story, they dated for 4 years and she waited while he was on his mission. AWWWWWW!

Jeff and Nichole, Travis' sister, were there also for the fun. Dallin tried on Travis' Harley stuff and was hoping he looked cool! I think so!

Ethan looked so cute, his teeth made the picture the best. They were all trying it out, Jeff looked pretty good too.

Stayed the night with the Ferg grandparents and they fed us all the favorites that were hated as kids but are now loved as adults. MUSH, homemade wheat bread and jam. Nothing is as good as Carma's bread although my stomach was a "hater" because I usually don't eat alot of wheat anything.

Tegan was showing me Marks new ride. So jealous, it's a sweet ride.

Visited Summer, Mark, Tegan, and Bridger. Tegan was alot happier than he looks. He was jazzzed about his new tool set we took him for his birthday, he even got to drill a hole in his door. The hole was already there but he was a fan.

The Erickson Grandparents were around too so we got to visit with them also. Ted has not aged in the 21 years I have known him, nore has he bought a new suit. JK. It still fits and he looks great in it. They are very sweet to our family and always have been.

We ended up staying in Malad on the way home for the night. It was a HOLE but at least I didn't have to ride anymore in the naasty wind or the dark. Nice weekend away, never can get enough of that.
